about
This one is a re-release. I thought i'd wack it on my Soundcoud since it doesn't seem to be uploaded anymore. I produced this song as a donation for Counterpoint Arts during Refugee Week, along a host of artists, for a compilation aimed at raising money and awareness.
Seul means 'Alone' in French and I thought it represented my emotions when thinking of refugees leaving their homes and families and are often alone in their journeys, suffering and experience. And they also end up in places where they feel alienated culturally and misunderstood. This music I feel transmits that emotion. Let me know what you think ;-)
Btw, this is my son in the image (again!), but contrary to what the title suggests, he wasn't alone. Don't call child services on me please.
